Bio-Optica Embedding Workstation: Innovation and Precision for Pathology Laboratories

Bio-Optica introduces the new Inclusion Central Unit, an advanced system designed to optimize histology inclusion processes by improving efficiency, precision and operational comfort.

The system consists of the BEC150 paraffin dispencer and BCP170 or BCP230 cold plate, designed to provide optimized workflow through innovative technical features:

BEC150 paraffin dispenser:

• Dispensing system with proximity sensor and optional foot pedal for precise flow control
• Light indicators of paraffin melting status
• Thermostated aluminum tank to keep wax at the ideal temperature
• Adjustable LED lighting for optimal visibility during the inclusion process
• Shock and solvent resistant 4.3” touchscreen display for intuitive management of working parameters
• Cold spot at -3°C with Peltier technology for fast and effective cooling

BCP170 and BCP230 cold plate:

• Aluminum or stainless steel cooling surface for rapid consolidation of included samples.
• Advanced refrigeration technology to maintain temperatures down to -20°C, ensuring stability and uniformity.
• Capacity to accommodate up to 300 cassettes in an upright position (model BCP230).
• With an ergonomic design and an intuitive interface, the new Bio-Optica Embedding Center is a reliable solution for laboratories in need of precise and ergonomical instruments.
