The Osteomidullary Biospy is a critically important tissue from a diagnostic point of view, as it enables the study of diseases affecting the hemopoietic tissue, such as leukemias and lymphomas.

It is invasive for the patient and problematic from the point of view of histological processing: being composed of bone tissue and marrow, decalcification is required in addition to fixation, hence the need for two combined reagents.

The new MYELODEC Mercury Free kit, consisting of fixative and decalcifier for bone biopsies, is now in the catalog, specifically developed to preserve the antigenicity of the tissue thanks to galvanized formalin, the fixative of choice for hematopoietic tissue, and to increase safety in use by the operator: the new formulation is in fact free of Mercury salts!

The EDTA-based decalcifing solution has been optimized for this type of sample.

Available in the catalog under code 04-230828, the kit contains 5 100ml bottles of reagent A, which corresponds to the fixative, and 5 100ml bottles of reagent B, which corresponds to the decalcifier.
